Scope of Position:

Working under the general direction of the supervisor or lead person, performs a wide variety of duties associated with electrical component placement, attachment and wiring.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Knows, understands and uses the appropriate safety equipment in an electrical panel building environment.

• Understands paperwork accountability when charging time to specific work orders as well as the payroll system.
• Reads and interprets electrical schematics.
• Understand ladder logic and relay functions.

• Understands how to safely operate hand tools for drilling, varied fastener components and wire stripping equipment.

• Able to read drawings and blueprints and properly determine electrical component placement in a panel and understand National Electric Code requirements.

• Properly applies ridged and flexible conduits.

• Accurately selects and applies terminal connections.
• Abel to accurately read measuring equipment.
• Trained in overhead crane operations.
• Maintains area hygiene above industry standards.

• Develop and maintain solid employee morale and safety awareness.
• Adheres to safety and environmental rules.
• Performs general housekeeping.

• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• 2-3 years hands on construction related electrical work.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, drawings and blueprints.
