SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS: Under the general direction of the Shipping Manager, the Shipping Specialist is primarily responsible for picking, packaging, auditing, and shipping of equipment orders to customers. The position includes other general warehouse functions and activities including stocking, reviewing, cycle counts, stock checks, and general housekeeping

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identify and prioritize orders based on customer need and ship method
• Order fulfillment of equipment and repair sales orders to meet daily order requirements
• Properly package outbound orders according to packaging guidelines
• Perform audits of picked and packed orders for accuracy
• Verify priority, accuracy, and requirements of customer orders
• Process scrap orders from fulfillment to final packaging
• Perform ‘Put-away’ of received inventory into final bin locations as directed
• Perform stock checks as needed to meet customer requests
• Actively participate in daily cycle count functions
• Maintain general warehouse organization and cleanliness
• Other general warehouse duties as directed
• Performs other duties as requested or assigned.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum three years general warehouse experience
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (AX preferred)
• Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively work as part of a team and individually
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Basic working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Handling of heavy objects (20lbs. – 100lbs.)
• Previous forklift experience a plus
• Must be able to read and write in English

• Frequent lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, and pulling of boxes, as well as frequent movement (walking) throughout the warehouse can be expected

• This position is not able to work remotely.
